FAQ & Help
About Tarotoo
What is Tarotoo?
Tarotoo is an interactive platform for free online tarot readings powered by AI and inspired by the traditional symbolism of the Rider-Waite tarot deck. It combines tarot card meanings, symbolic relationships, spread positions, and AI-generated interpretations to create personalized readings focused on reflection, insight, and self-awareness.
Tarotoo is designed for entertainment, spiritual exploration, and personal guidance. Rather than predicting the future with certainty, the platform encourages users to reflect on emotions, patterns, and possibilities in their lives.
What is an online tarot reading?
An online tarot reading is a digital version of a traditional tarot card reading. You choose cards online and receive an interpretation based on tarot symbolism, card meanings, and the context of your question.
What makes Tarotoo different from other tarot reading websites?
Tarotoo combines traditional Rider-Waite tarot symbolism with interactive card selection, AI-powered interpretations, animated tarot cards, and personalized readings. The tarot process was reviewed by a professional tarot reader.
Unlike many tarot websites that provide static or randomly generated results, Tarotoo analyzes your selected cards, their positions, symbolic relationships, and the context of your question to create a more personalized reading experience.
The platform is completely free to use, requires no registration, supports multiple languages, and is continuously improved to provide more accurate, insightful, and engaging tarot interpretations.
Is Tarotoo free?
Yes. The Tarotoo website is completely free to use and does not require registration. You can enjoy unlimited tarot readings at no cost.
Our iOS and Android apps offer optional premium features for users who want more advanced functionality.
What is the difference between the Tarotoo website and mobile app?
The Tarotoo website is free to use, does not require registration, and currently offers readings with the 22 upright Major Arcana cards.
The mobile app offers additional features, including the complete 78-card tarot deck, reversed cards, more tarot spreads, and locally stored reading history. Some advanced app features may require a subscription.
Website readings are not automatically synchronized with the mobile app.
How does Tarotoo keep the website free?
The Tarotoo website is completely free to use and does not require registration. To support the development and maintenance of the platform, Tarotoo may display advertisements or sponsored offers, including optional third-party psychic consultation services. For more information, please read our Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure.
Tarotoo also offers optional premium features through its iOS and Android apps for users looking for more advanced functionality.
These monetization methods help us maintain and improve Tarotoo while keeping the core website experience free for everyone.
How can I support Tarotoo?
You can support Tarotoo by sharing the website with others, downloading our mobile app, leaving feedback, or reporting technical issues and inaccurate or unexpected responses.
You may also support the platform by visiting optional sponsored or affiliate offers displayed on the site. Tarotoo may receive compensation when users visit or purchase services through certain partner links, at no additional cost to the user.
These forms of support help us maintain, develop, and improve Tarotoo while keeping the website free to use.
Do advertisements or sponsored offers influence my tarot reading?
No. Advertisements, affiliate relationships, and sponsored offers do not influence which cards you select, Tarotoo’s interpretation framework, its AI prompts and logic, or the result of an individual reading.
Sponsored and affiliate content is presented separately from the tarot reading process. Tarotoo may receive compensation when users visit or purchase services through certain partner links.
For more information, read our Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure.

How Tarotoo Readings Work
Are Tarotoo readings generated by AI?
Yes. Tarotoo readings are generated with the help of AI. They are guided by traditional tarot symbolism, card combinations, spread positions, user input, and an expert-reviewed interpretation framework.
For a deeper explanation, learn how our tarot readings work.
What technology does Tarotoo use?
Tarotoo uses an AI language model provided by OpenAI through an encrypted API connection.
When you request a reading, Tarotoo creates a structured prompt containing relevant information such as your question, selected spread, chosen cards, card positions, traditional tarot meanings, symbolic relationships, and custom interpretation instructions.
The AI uses this information to generate the written reading. For a more detailed explanation, learn how our tarot readings work.
How does Tarotoo personalize a tarot reading?
Tarotoo generates a reading using the information relevant to your session, including your question, selected spread, chosen cards, card positions, traditional meanings, and symbolic relationships between the cards.
The AI interprets these elements together rather than displaying only a fixed or prewritten card description. However, it can consider only the information you submit and cannot know your complete circumstances, thoughts, or feelings.
Are Tarotoo readings prewritten?
No. Tarotoo does not simply display the same fixed reading for every card.
Traditional tarot meanings provide the symbolic foundation, but the final interpretation is generated for the current session using your question, selected spread, chosen cards, card positions, and relationships between the cards.
Does the AI choose my tarot cards?
No. During Tarotoo’s interactive readings, you select the cards yourself. The AI receives information about the cards you selected, their positions in the spread, and their traditional meanings, and then generates an interpretation.
The AI does not measure your intuition, read your thoughts, or influence which cards you choose.
How are tarot cards shuffled on Tarotoo?
Before each reading, Tarotoo digitally randomizes the order of the available tarot cards. This serves the same practical purpose as shuffling a physical deck, so the cards do not remain in a fixed order between readings.
The AI does not control the shuffle or determine which cards appear in particular positions.
Are the tarot cards selected randomly?
The order of the cards is randomized, but during Tarotoo’s interactive readings, you choose the cards yourself.
The AI does not select cards based on your question or personal information. It receives information about your chosen cards only after you have selected them and then generates the interpretation.
Does Tarotoo interpret combinations of tarot cards?
Yes. Tarotoo considers more than the meaning of each card on its own.
Depending on the reading, the interpretation may consider card positions, relationships between cards, repeating themes, contrasts, supporting symbols, and the overall structure of the selected spread.
Are individual Tarotoo readings reviewed by a human?
No. Individual readings are generated automatically and are not manually written, approved, or reviewed by a tarot reader or another person before they are displayed.
Expert review applies to Tarotoo’s overall reading methodology, symbolic framework, prompts, AI logic, spread structures, tone, and safety approach.
How is Tarotoo’s reading methodology reviewed and updated?
Tarotoo may review and update its reading framework when AI models change, prompts or interpretation logic are revised, tarot spreads are added or modified, safety requirements change, expert feedback is received, or new features are introduced.
Significant updates to the tarot reading process may also be reviewed for symbolic consistency, relevance, clarity, tone, and safety.
Why can two readings for the same question be different?
Tarot readings are interpretive, and AI-generated wording may vary between sessions. Different card selections, spread positions, question wording, session context, and AI generation can produce different interpretations, even when the general topic is similar.
Repeating the same question within a short period may also create confusion, so it is usually better to reflect on the first reading before trying again.
Using Tarotoo and Asking Better Questions
What should I prepare before a Tarotoo tarot reading?
Before starting an online tarot reading, choose a quiet place and try to keep a calm, open mindset.
Minimize distractions, relax, and focus clearly on your question while selecting your cards.
How do I start a tarot reading?
To start a tarot reading, choose your spread, type your question, and pick your tarot cards during the interactive reading experience.
Your focus, intuition, and card choices all help shape the interpretation and personal context of the reading.
Once your cards are selected, you will receive your personalized tarot reading.
Can I ask the same question multiple times?
It is generally not recommended to repeat readings on the same question within a short period unless your situation has changed.
Each reading reflects the present moment, and repeating the same question too often may lead to confusion or less objective interpretation.
Do I need tarot experience to use Tarotoo?
No. Tarotoo is designed for both beginners and experienced tarot readers.
You do not need prior knowledge of tarot cards or symbolism to use the platform.
Can I use tarot readings for self-reflection?
Yes. Many people use tarot as a tool for reflection, mindfulness, journaling, and emotional insight.
Tarot readings can encourage deeper self-examination and help people think more carefully about situations, emotions, and personal choices.
How can I ask better tarot questions?
Clear and specific questions usually lead to more focused and meaningful interpretations.
Instead of asking overly broad questions, try focusing on a particular situation, emotion, relationship, or decision you want insight about.
What should I do if my reading does not make sense?
Read the interpretation again while considering the meaning of each card, its position in the spread, and the specific question you asked. Some parts may become clearer when viewed as themes or possibilities rather than literal statements.
You do not need to force a reading to fit your situation. AI-generated readings may sometimes be unclear, overly general, inaccurate, or not personally relevant.
Instead of immediately repeating the same question, consider reflecting on the reading and returning later with a clearer or more specific question.
Can I ask tarot questions about another person?
Yes, but it is better to frame the question around your own perspective, choices, boundaries, or relationship with that person.
For example, instead of asking what another person is secretly thinking, you could ask what you should understand about the relationship or how you can approach the situation more clearly.
Tarotoo cannot access another person’s private information, read their thoughts, track their actions, or verify their feelings or intentions.
What happens if I refresh or leave the page during a reading?
If you refresh, close, or leave the page before completing or saving your reading, your current progress or generated response may be lost.
You may need to restart the reading and select your cards again. Save any completed reading you want to keep before leaving the page.
Can I change my question or selected cards after starting a reading?
Once your cards have been selected and the reading has been generated, you cannot edit that completed reading.
To use a different question or choose different cards, start a new reading. Avoid repeating the same question, as this may create confusion.

Accuracy, Predictions, and Limitations
Are Tarotoo tarot readings accurate?
Tarot readings should be viewed as a reflective and interpretive experience rather than absolute truth.
The meaning of a reading often depends on your personal perspective, emotions, intuition, and real-life context.
Many users find tarot emotionally insightful or thought-provoking, but final decisions and interpretations always remain your own.
Can tarot cards predict the future?
No. Tarot should not be viewed as a guaranteed prediction of future events. Your future can change based on your actions, decisions, and circumstances.
Tarot is best used as a tool for self-reflection, perspective, and personal insight rather than certainty about what will happen.
Are there any limitations to Tarotoo tarot readings?
Tarotoo readings are intended for personal reflection, self-awareness, entertainment, and spiritual exploration. They should not be treated as factual statements, guaranteed outcomes, or predictions of future events. They do not constitute medical, legal, financial, mental health, or other professional advice. Please consult qualified professionals for such matters.
Because the readings are generated with the help of AI, they may sometimes contain inaccuracies, incomplete interpretations, overly general responses, or information that does not fully apply to your personal situation.

No. Tarotoo is not an emergency, crisis, medical, mental health, or personal safety service.
If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate qualified professional. Do not delay seeking help because of a tarot reading or AI-generated response.
What should I do if a reading makes me feel worried or distressed?
Remember that tarot readings are interpretive and are not guaranteed predictions of what will happen. You do not need to accept or act on any part of a reading that feels unhelpful, upsetting, or inappropriate.
Consider stepping away from the reading, focusing on your immediate surroundings, and discussing your concerns with someone you trust. For medical, mental health, legal, financial, or personal safety concerns, seek help from an appropriate qualified professional.
