Responsible Use of Advertised Psychic Services
This guidance applies to paid third-party psychic, tarot, astrology, and related services advertised on Tarotoo. These services operate independently of Tarotoo and have their own prices, payment arrangements, policies, and safeguards. Visiting a provider or purchasing a consultation is always optional. An advertisement does not mean that a service is necessary or suitable for everyone.
Information about our affiliate relationships and partner selection is available in our Affiliate & Revenue Disclosure.
Understand the Service and Its Cost
Before purchasing, check what the consultation includes, how it will be delivered, and how you will be charged. Some providers charge by the minute, while others offer fixed-price sessions, packages, subscriptions, or other payment arrangements. With per-minute billing, the total cost increases as the conversation continues.
Review the standard rate, any minimum charges, and the conditions of introductory offers, including eligibility, time limits, and when the standard rate begins to apply. A low introductory price does not necessarily reflect the cost of a longer consultation or future sessions.
Where applicable, check automatic credit top-ups, recurring payments, cancellation procedures, and refund conditions. Make sure you understand how to end a session and whether any separate subscription or recurring payment will continue afterward.
Choose an Amount You Are Comfortable Spending
Decide how much money and time you want to spend before starting a consultation, and keep track of the total. If you use several advisors or platforms, consider the combined cost.
Keep paid readings within an amount you can afford after essential expenses. Avoid borrowing money or using funds needed for food, housing, healthcare, bills, or other necessities. You can end a session when you reach your planned limit, even if the conversation feels unfinished. Money already spent does not oblige you to purchase anything further.
Keep Your Choices Your Own
A consultation should leave you free to consider, question, or disregard what is said. Paying for a reading does not guarantee accuracy, reveal another person’s thoughts or feelings as fact, or ensure a particular outcome.
You are free to decline additional services, end a conversation, or decide that a consultation is not helpful for you. You do not owe an advisor continued contact, repeat purchases, gifts, or an explanation for choosing to stop.
Recognize Pressure and Unrealistic Promises
Be cautious if an advisor guarantees a result, creates urgency around an additional purchase, or suggests that only they can help you. Claims that payment is necessary to prevent harm, remove a supposed curse, reunite you with someone, or control another person’s actions should not be treated as a reason to spend money.
Pressure to keep payments secret, stop seeking professional help, or become dependent on a particular advisor is a reason to step back and seek an independent perspective.
Use the provider’s official payment and communication channels. Be cautious about requests to transfer money to an individual or move to an unofficial channel, and check the provider’s rules before agreeing.
Allow Time to Reflect
Give yourself time to consider a consultation before deciding whether another one would be useful. You do not need to purchase another reading immediately to resolve uncertainty or obtain a more reassuring answer. Repeated readings or agreement between advisors do not establish that a prediction is reliable.
Consider taking a break if consultations leave you more worried, lead you to spend more than intended, or begin to feel necessary before everyday decisions. Pay attention to their effect on your wellbeing, relationships, responsibilities, and finances.
If promotional messages make it harder to take a break, you can review notification preferences, unsubscribe from marketing, or ask the provider how to pause or close your account.
Understand Privacy and Professional Boundaries
Before sharing sensitive information, review the external provider’s privacy policy, including whether conversations are recorded or stored. Share only information you are comfortable providing and avoid unnecessary personal details about other people. Tarotoo’s privacy practices and website safeguards do not automatically extend to external services.
Psychic consultations are not healthcare or therapy and should not replace qualified medical, mental health, legal, or financial advice. Do not rely on a reading to start, stop, or change treatment, make important financial or legal decisions, or respond to an emergency.
Find Support When You Need It
If consultations are causing distress or you find it difficult to reduce spending despite wanting to, consider speaking with someone you trust or a qualified mental health professional. If spending has created financial difficulties, an independent, reputable debt-advice service in your country may be able to help.
For urgent safety concerns, seek appropriate human help. Our Get Help Immediately page provides support resources.
Ask Questions or Report Concerns
Contact the relevant provider about charges, cancellations, refunds, account settings, privacy, or advisor conduct. Keep relevant receipts, transaction records, and messages so you can explain the issue to its support team.
You can also report concerns about an advertisement displayed on Tarotoo to [email protected]. Identify the advertisement or provider and describe the concern without including payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information. Tarotoo does not operate the external service and cannot directly cancel its charges or issue refunds on its behalf.
