Tarotoo

About

Hey there!

Tarotoo is an interactive tarot platform founded by Ukrainian entrepreneur Yaroslav Kyrychenko. Its website offers free AI-powered tarot readings.

Tarot is often associated only with mysticism or fortune-telling. At Tarotoo, we approach it as a tool for self-reflection, personal insight, and entertainment. We created Tarotoo to make tarot readings engaging and accessible, with animated cards that accompany each reading and bring every draw to life.

Tarotoo is designed for both beginners and experienced tarot enthusiasts. It combines the Rider–Waite–Smith tarot tradition with modern technology, using traditional symbolism, structured card meanings, and AI to generate readings based on the user’s submitted question, selected spread, chosen cards, and their positions. Each reading offers symbolic perspectives on events, emotions, and choices and invites users to reflect using their own intuition. Readings are intended for entertainment and self-reflection only and are not a substitute for professional advice.

Tarotoo’s reading process, AI prompts and logic, and symbolic framework have been reviewed by Inbaal Honigman, a professional tarot reader and astrologer with over 25 years of experience.

Who We Are

Founder

Yaroslav Kyrychenko
Yaroslav Kyrychenko is the founder of Tarotoo. He created the platform to combine traditional tarot symbolism with modern technology in an interactive and visually engaging experience. He brought together developers, designers, animators, and tarot experts to build the platform. His goal was to present tarot as a tool for self-reflection and personal insight rather than as a source of guaranteed predictions. Yaroslav and Tarotoo were featured in an article by CNET.

Development and Design

Yaroslav Kyrychenko worked with Fiddle.Digital on the development and design of the Tarotoo website, combining his vision for the platform with the team’s technical and creative expertise. The animated tarot cards were created by Mitty Lihidchenko, a motion designer and illustrator who brought movement and visual storytelling to the Rider–Waite–Smith-inspired deck.

Personalized Readings
Each reading is shaped by the user’s submitted question, selected spread, chosen cards, and their positions.

Transparency & Safety

Tarotoo is an AI-powered platform designed for reflection, self-discovery, and entertainment. Readings are generated automatically using information submitted by the user, selected tarot spreads and cards, traditional tarot symbolism, and structured AI instructions. Tarotoo does not claim that its AI has consciousness, emotions, psychic abilities, or certain knowledge of future events. Learn more about our technology, reading methodology, and expert review process on our How Our Tarot Readings Work page.

As part of our commitment to transparency, Tarotoo publishes the structured tarot dataset used in our AI readings as a public resource. The dataset documents our card meanings and symbolic associations and can be explored, downloaded, cited, reused, and integrated into external projects. Learn more on our Open Data & Developer Resources page.

Tarot readings and other AI-generated content may contain limitations or inaccuracies and should not be treated as substitutes for professional medical, mental health, legal, or financial advice. Important information about these limitations is available in our Disclaimer, while answers to common questions about Tarotoo can be found on our FAQ & Help page.

We prioritize user privacy and security. No account is required to use the main features of the Tarotoo website, and completed website readings are not saved in a personal account or server-based reading history. Users should copy or save a reading themselves if they wish to keep it. In the Tarotoo mobile app, reading history may be stored locally on the user’s device and may be deleted when the app is removed. Further details are available in our Privacy Policy.

Tarotoo is not an emergency or crisis-support service. Anyone experiencing an immediate crisis, considering harming themselves or someone else, or requiring urgent assistance should stop using Tarotoo and contact local emergency services or an appropriate qualified professional. Additional support information is available on our Get Help Immediately page.

How We Earn Revenue

The Tarotoo website is free to use and available without registration. To support the operation and continued development of the platform, we offer optional mobile apps through the App Store and Google Play. Some features in these apps require a paid subscription.

We may also display affiliate promotions for independent third-party psychic services. If a referred visitor becomes a paying customer or completes another qualifying paid transaction, Tarotoo may receive a commission at no additional cost to the customer. Affiliate promotions are identified separately from the tarot-reading process.

Affiliate relationships and revenue from our apps do not influence card selection, tarot card meanings, reading methodology, AI instructions, Psychic Chat responses, or individual reading results.

These sources of revenue help us maintain and improve Tarotoo while keeping the core website experience free. More information is available in our Affiliate & Revenue Disclosure.

Open Data & Developer Resources

Tarotoo supports open access, research, and development by making its structured tarot dataset publicly available. Our open dataset covers all 78 Rider–Waite–Smith tarot cards across 22 structured fields, including upright and reversed meanings, keywords, thematic interpretations, astrological associations, and yes/no values.

The dataset can be explored online, downloaded, cited, integrated into applications, used in research and AI workflows, or adapted for commercial and non-commercial projects under the MIT License. It is published through GitHub, Hugging Face, Kaggle, and Zenodo, where it is permanently archived with a registered DOI.

Tarotoo also provides developer tools for working with the data directly, including JavaScript and Python packages and an MCP server that allows compatible AI assistants, development environments, and other Model Context Protocol clients to access Tarotoo’s structured tarot card meanings.

Explore the dataset, methodology, documentation, software packages, and available integrations on our Open Data & Developer Resources page.
