Don’t Rush Into It

Mornings can be pretty busy! You probably have work or chores to do, and you may want to rush through your reading to get the answers you are looking for. However, this may impact your reading. If you are not focused on the Tarot, you may not be able to connect with the cards.

Make sure you have the time set aside to perform your daily Tarot reading. Tarot works by connecting with your energy and intuition to provide you with the correct information regarding your life. This means you must be in the right frame of mind, with enough time, to get an accurate reading.

Before picking the cards, take a moment to center your energy. Be still with your thoughts and acknowledge the emotions you currently have. Allow yourself to release any negativity and focus on the present.

Trust Yourself

When you are picking the cards, make sure you trust in yourself and your intuition. You will find yourself pulled to a specific card, and there is a reason for this! Don’t overthink things, and allow your inner voice to guide you to the right card.

Select the cards slowly, reflecting on the position of each card you are picking. You may find it useful to speak out loud as you pick the cards. For example, when you choose the first card, you may want to say, ‘This card will show me what is in store for my love life today.’

Go Back To Your Cards at the End of the Day

Once you have received your cards, we recommend writing them down in a Tarot journal. This will help you connect with the cards better, allowing their energy into your life.

Write down the cards you have received and any thoughts you have about them. Do they make sense to you? Do any cards seem a bit confusing? It is totally normal for cards not to make total sense at first! It doesn’t mean you have received the wrong card, you just need to work out what it means for you.

At the end of the day, go back to your Tarot journal and reflect on how the cards have impacted your day. Certain cards will be clearer, and you may wish to add more reflections to your journal.
