Water Signs: The White House Majority

Water signs are the most common in the White House, with 15 presidents born under Scorpio, Pisces, or Cancer. This includes some of the country’s most influential leaders, including George Washington (Pisces).

Scorpio ranks first as the most common zodiac sign among US presidents. This sign accounts for 6 leaders, representing nearly 14% of all US presidents. Scorpio presidents include John Adams, James Polk, Warren Harding, and, more recently, Joe Biden.

Pisces come in second place with 5 presidents born under this water sign, making up more than 10% of all heads of state. The list begins with George Washington and includes notable leaders across different periods of American history, such as Andrew Jackson and Grover Cleveland. Another common US presidential water sign is Cancer. There were 4 presidents with this zodiac sign, including Calvin Coolidge and George W. Bush.

Air Signs: Masters of Communication

Thirteen US presidents have been born under air signs, making this group one of the most influential in the White House. Air sign people are known for their strong communication skills, curiosity, and quick thinking. John F. Kennedy showed this through his memorable speeches, while Donald Trump uses a direct, attention-grabbing style to reach the public.

Aquarius is sharing its position with Pisces as the second most common zodiac sign among presidents. America had 5 Aquarius leaders, with notable figures like Abraham Lincoln, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and Ronald Reagan.

Libra and Gemini collectively account for 8 presidents, representing 16% of all American leaders. Libra presidents include Chester Dwight D. Eisenhower, Jimmy Carter, and Bill Clinton, while Gemini has produced famous speakers like John F. Kennedy and Donald Trump.

Earth Signs: America’s Practical Problem-Solvers

In the White House, 10 leaders have come from earth signs. These leaders are often seen as pragmatic, taking charge during times of challenge and transition. For example, Taurus president Ulysses S. Grant guided the country through Reconstruction, while Capricorn president Woodrow Wilson led the US into World War I.

Capricorn and Taurus together make up 8 presidents, with 4 leaders each. In addition to Wilson, Capricorn leaders include Millard Fillmore and Richard Nixon. Taurus presidents such as James Monroe, who oversaw the Monroe Doctrine, reflected the sign’s reputation for steady, determined leadership.

Another Earth sign, Virgo, is the least represented zodiac, with only 2 presidents. These two leaders include William Howard Taft and Lyndon B. Johnson.

Fire Signs: The Bold Visionaries of the Oval Office

A total of nine presidents were born under fire signs. Fire sign leaders are often remembered for their energy, confidence, and willingness to take risks.

Leo shares fourth place with other signs, counting 4 presidents: Benjamin Harrison, Herbert Hoover, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama. These fire sign presidents have served across different periods of American history, most of them coming from a legal career.

There were three Sagittarius presidents in America’s history. These were Zachary Taylor, Martin Van Buren, and Franklin Pierce. All three served before the Civil War, with the rest of American history not featuring Sagittarius leaders.

Aries is among the least common signs in the White House, with only 2 presidents: Thomas Jefferson and John Tyler. Despite Aries being known for boldness and initiative, few have reached the Oval Office under this sign.
